The Production Supervisor will supervise and coordinate activities of production workers.
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
How you will do itInspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of customer orders.
Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Interpret specifications, drawings, and production orders to workers, and assigns duties.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of workers.
Analyze and resolve work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Maintain time and production records.
Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Perform activities of workers supervised.
Conduct weekly departmental meetings pertaining to safety, quality, etc.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications What we look forRequired:
Associate degree.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Ability to work second shift (Monday-Friday 2:
00PM ndash; 12:
30AM).
