Picking Associate - 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am)+req'd OT

JOB OBJECTIVE: Responsible for accurately and safely completing picking and put-away task assignments involving operation of powered industrial equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately pick product quantities from VNA or Single Deep racks per RF and cluster label instructions
Sort, label, and store picked product safely in containers or on pallet
Perform storage tasks to designated racks or storage locations according to task commands
Replenish forward pick locations from FIFO storage assignments
Remove empty containers and pallets from rack locations following pick task
Operate powered industrial equipment according to Crown Safe Operating Guidelines, Forklift Safety Training, andFEI Safety Policies
Select, secure, transport, and store product safely using quality pallets and containers
Ensure pedestrian safety by maintaining a safe rate of speed in all areas while operating equipment
Maintain clearance of equipment to avoid impacts and damage to product or property
Coordinate task completion with lead and other equipment operators as needed
Inspect and maintain all forklift and RF equipment in functional condition
Execute tasks utilizing hand-held or truck mounted RF units / scanners
Follow all established SOP procedures for given task areas
Work closely with supervisor and lead to resolve any task concerns that arise
Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner
Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed
Perform routine and assigned housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe work environment
Communicate with associates and display teamwork in completing task assignments
Possess good oral and written communication skills in addition to the ability to work both independently and within a team
Demonstrate superior math skills, with ability to calculate quantities of product on hand
Ability to be certified on powered industrial equipment
Knowledgeable of safe work practices required in the distribution center
Possess product knowledge and proper use of ALT 1 codes to identify FEI product
Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment
Understanding of WMS systems and warehousing operations

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
