Software Quality Assurance Manager

Amtec has been retained by one of its valued clients in Mira Loma, Ca. to find a Software Quality Assurance Manager. Our established client (over 50 years) is highly regarded as being a trusted business advisor who delivers high quality web-based solutions to their very reputable and well known clientele. They accomplish this reputation with their very skilled and dedicated employees!
The Software Quality Assurance Manager will assure a consistent quality of output by developing and enforcing automated and manual QA output processes; validating those processes; providing documentation and managing staff. They will be responsible for the overall QA process and for validating the accuracy of both new development product rollouts, as well as ongoing projects. The selected candidate will accomplish personnel objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. They will prepare and complete action plans; implement production, assure customer objectives are met, identify and resolve problems, complete audits; determine system improvements and implement change. They will also develop quality assurance plans for data and document rendering QA requirements; identify critical control points and preventive measures; monitor procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures, validate quality data output processes, define Q/A requirements and write and update quality assurance procedures.

Desired Skills and Experience Required:
Must have a minim of 3 years' experience in a web development software quality assurance management role
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems preferred
Must be forward thinking, be able to deal with complexity and pay strong attention to detail
Past experience developing Q/A strategic plans
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate complex requirements and job expectations to staff
Experience with PHI (Protected Health Insurance) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.) data requirements a plus.
Experience with SQL and stored procedures a plus.
Ability to both write and create automated scripts and queries to facilitate automation of Quality checks and/or the ability to define the application requirements needed so tools can be built in support of this.
Must be able to take ownership for the entire departments work, possess a strong analytical, and corrective action mind set.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
